Extensive campaigning by Randhawa, Amrik

JAMMU, Dec 7: An extensive campaigning of DDC elections was held by Vikram Randhawa Ex MLC along with Amrik Singh, president of All J&K POJK 1947 Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum and senior BJP leader and Surjit Singh general secretary of the Forum.
Rittu Singh Aulak the DDC candidate and other prominent leaders were also present.
They visited Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Guru Tegh Bahadur Nagar Narwal By Pass and paid obeisance there and later addressed various public meetings. While addressing the gathering Ch.Vikram Randhawa highlighted the achievements made during the BJP Government one by one. Further elaborating Amrik Singh stated that it is the Narendra Modi Government which opened the 1984 Sikh genocide cases and constituted SIT to open the dead files already consigned to records. The entire cases were referred to CBI in the first instance after resuming the office as Prime Ministership in the year 2014.
Singh expressed that Sikhs have always played their tremendous roll in the freedom struggle being a microscopic strength of the country and our country should be proud of the Sikh community.
He further said “This is our good fortune that 74 years of country freedom we got a chance of DDC elections in the reign under Modi Government where as in the Congress regime we were kept out of this benefit. Narendra Modi always wanted ” Sab ka Sath Sab ka Vikas,” and development of every individual.” He urged upon the gathering to vote for BJP candidate for the betterment of the country and Sikh community.
Surjit Singh general secretary of the Forum also appealed the gathering to cast their vote in favour of Madam Ritu Singh in the interest of Satwari Phallain Mandaal public interest. Surjit Singh also reminded upon the gathering about genocide of 1989 when 13 innocent Sikhs were massacred.
Rittu Singh also spoke on the occasion and hoped that with support of the masses she will win the election to get an opportunity to serve the people.
