JAMMU, Apr 21: NGO Shiv Sadhna and BMM Samaj Group here today organised a free eye check-up camp at Subash Nagar.
The camp was inaugurated by Sat Sharma, senior BJP leader along with H.S Mankotia, former JMC Councillor.
About 500 persons from adjoining areas were benefited from the camp during which blood pressure was checked along with the testing of blood sugar and eyes.
Ophthalmologists from Sharp Eye Hospital, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu rendered their services in the camp.
While speaking on the occasion Sat Sharma lauded the services rendered to the mankind by the team of Sharp Sight, Shiv Sadhna and BMM Samaj Group.
Suman Sharma Mahaldar, president Shiv Sadhna ensured the beneficiaries of all help in future on humanitarian grounds.
Ravinder Razdan and Upender Handoo, social activists were also present on the occasion while the vote of thanks was offered by Surinder Kaul.
