KATHUA, Mar 16: Rising Star Gunners under Operation Sadbhavana organized an eye checkup camp for the residents of Basholi and adjoining villages.
The camp provided free consultation of eye specialist. A total of 270 villagers utilized the opportunity provided by the Army. The villagers were also educated on aspects of family planning, child care, basic hygiene and sanitation by skilled nursing assistants from the Army. The villagers took keen interest in the eye checkup camp. Free medicines were also provided to the needy patients.
The event was attended by civil administration officials of Kathua district and military officials. The event was also attended by ex-servicemen of Basholi and adjoining villages.
