Eye Operation Camp by TWS concludes

JAMMU, Dec 24: The five day free Cataract Eye Operation Camp organized by Tawi Welfare Society (TWS) Sure Chack near here was concluded today.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Chander Parkash Sharma, Medical Superintendent, Gandhi Nagar Hospital wherein over 300 patients were examined, out of which 27 were operated by a team of doctors comprising Dr. Nirupama Dogra, Dr. Kamal Gupta, Dr. Shekhar Sharma and Dr. Payal Gupta.
On the concluding day, Danish Mishra, Chairman Sehyog Charitable Trust was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest said that members of TWS have taken a good step of organizing such camp through which a large number of people get benefitted.
He further asked TWS members to organize more such camps in other parts of the State.
During the camp, free lodging and boarding facilities were provided to the patients.
Kavi Raj, President of the Society expressed gratitude to the Medical Superintendent, team of doctors, BMO Sohanjana and others who assisted to make the camp successful.
