‘Face-lifting of temples to be completed before Mahashivratri’

JAMMU, Feb 14: The work of upgrading and renovating shrines and temples under the ambit of Dharmarth Trust is going on war footing and the same is expected to be completed well before Mahashivratri.
This was informed by Advocate Ajay Gandotra, President J&K Dharmarth Trust in a statement issued here today.
He said that under the patronage of Chairman Trustee of J&K Dharmarth Trust, the upgradation and renovation of Shri Raghunath ji Temple and other shrines is going on full throttle and soon the work will be completed. He said that the urgent repairs and renovation of temples at Purmandal Shrine is also going on with the consent of the members of the committee constituted by the Deputy Commissioner Samba. Trust’s President also informed that a state of art Prasad Counter shall soon be set up inside the Raghunath Temple fulfilling the long pending demand of the devotees. He said that a souvenir of Shri Ram Darbar of Holy Sanctum of Shri Raghunathji Temple with copy rights shall be placed at the Prasad Counter.
