Katra, July 12: Three day national level Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Teaching learning in Architectural Education” is being organised by Department of Architecture & Landscape Design at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University from today.
The resource person for the FDP is Prof Rajeev Garg, who has a vast experience of teaching, practice and research in Architecture, particularly research in Architectural teaching, methods and Pedagogy. In this development program, around 20 participants from host university; new school of Architecture, MAM College, Jammu; renowned practicing Architects and few other faculty members from colleges of other States of India are also participating.
The FDP started with the introductory address by the coordinator of FDP Ar Anoop Sharma, followed by floral welcome by the first HOD of the department, Prof C L Razdan. Prof Rajeev Garg briefed the participants about the objectives and outcomes of the FDP.
