JAMMU, Dec 5: A meeting of All J&K Fair Price Ration Dealers Association was held here, today under the chairmanship of Anayat Ullah Malik, vice president of the Association.
The meeting was also attended by the representatives from Kashmir Division of this Union Territory in which various burning issues and demands were taken up. The meeting took strong notice of the fact that the Government should provide monthly salary and wages at least Rs 30,000 per month to Government Fair Price Ration Dealers of the J&K UT.
The Association said the issue was previously taken up in a meeting held at National level which was held at Paharganj, New Delhi November 11, this year. During the meeting it was also decided to stage a national level protest at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on December 12 in support of dealers demand.
It appealed the dealers to participate in the protest on the said date. The Association also floated the helpline numbers of dealers of each district and asked members to be in contact with them.
