JAMMU, Jan 27: The CRETA Electric was launched at Fairdeal Auto Hyundai in a function held here today. The new car was launched at an introductory price of Rs 17,99,000.
The unveiling ceremony took place at Fairdeal Auto Hyundai’s Greater Kailash showroom and was graced by chief guest Deepak Gupta, President, Traders Federation Ware house Nehru Market and guest of honour R K Gupta, DGM, SBI.
Managing Director Saleem Bakshi, Director Rohit Gandotra, Mohit Gandotra, Farhan Bakshi and Ritvik Gandotra were also present during the event.
Speaking at the event, Ritvik Gandotra said, “The CRETA Electric is a milestone in Hyundai’s electrification journey and a testament to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. We are confident it will set new benchmarks in the Indian EV market.”

The Hyundai CRETA Electric is available with two battery options: a 51.4 kWh long-range pack offering a range of 473 km on a single charge and a 42 kWh pack delivering 390 km.
The vehicle supports rapid charging, achieving 10% to 80% charge in just 58 minutes*(T&C apply) with a DC fast charger, and can be fully charged in 4 hours using an 11 kW AC wallbox charger.
Equipped with a battery heater for optimal performance in cold conditions, an IP67-rated battery for dust and water resistance and rigorous safety tests, including a 16-foot drop and water-soak tests, the CRETA Electric ensures reliability in all terrains and weather conditions.
The SUV comes in 8 monotones, including 3 matte options, and 2 dual-tone colors, catering to diverse style preferences.
It offers a comprehensive warranty package, including a 3-year vehicle warranty with unlimited kilometers, an 8-year/1.6 lakh km battery warranty, and 3 years of complimentary roadside assistance.
Customers can also avail of Hyundai’s Shield of Trust package for up to 5 years, covering running repairs and maintenance.
