JAMMU, Dec 21: Border Security Force (BSF) today recovered fake Indian currency worth Rs 3.99 lakh near Border Out Post (BOP) Kharkola along International Border (IB) in RS Pura Sector. As per police sources, BSF troops on specific information, conducted search near BOP Kharkola and recovered 2 packets wrapped with yellow colour tape. In one packet, 399 Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) in the denomination of Rs 1000 with face value of Rs 3.99 lakh were recovered, while as a cigarette packet of Morvin company was wrapped in another packet. The consignment was seized and a case under relevant Sections was registered in RS Pura police station in this regard.
