Fake currency seized, accused on run

JAMMU, Oct 16: Police recovered Rs 17,000 fake Indian currency from the bordering RS Pura belt, while the accused was on the run.
As per police sources, an employee of a food corner (dhaba) namely Sunil Kumar alias Chotu, a resident of Uttar Pradesh was paid the salary of Rs 17,000 by his employer Kuldeep Kumar, which when checked was found fake Indian currency. The fake currency was in the denomination of Rs 1000 and Rs 500.
The employee reported the matter to RS Pura Police Station and a case under FIR number 190/14 under Section 489 and 489-B RPC was registered and manhunt was launched to nab Kuldeep Kumar.
