JAMMU, Aug 8: Crime Branch Jammu today produced chargesheet against the accused persons in the case of executing fake Power of Attorney by impersonation in connivance with then Nazir in the court of Sub-Registrar Jammu.
The chargesheet was produced in the case FIR No. 01/2013 u/s 419, 420, 423, 465, 466, 467, 468, 406, 201, 120-B RPC, registered with Crime Branch, Jammu on 16-01-2013 on a written complaint lodged by Deep Kumar son of Manohar Lal of 132- Bahu Fort, Jammu with the Sub-Registrar (3rd Additional Munsiff) Jammu.
As per the complaint, endorsed by CJM, Jammu u/s 156 (3) Cr PC, the complainant was the owner in possession of land measuring 7 kanals falling under khasra Nos. 1176 min, 1177 min and 810 min situated at village Chawadi, district Jammu. On 29th of May 2012, he came to know that accused Amit Goel son of Romesh Chander Goel of 239/4, Channi Himmat, Jammu and Shashi Kumar, alias Makhnu son of Nanak Dass of Barain Vijaypur, Distt Samba, executed fake and fictitious Irrevocable General Power of Attorney in the Court of 3rd Additional Munsiff (Sub-Registrar) by impersonation in connivance with other accused namely Majid Farid Shapoo son of Farid Ahmed Shapoo of village Pasri, Bhaderwah, A/P Vidhata Nagar Bathandi, Jammu and Gulzar Ahmed, the then Nazir of the Court of 3rd Additional Munsiff (Sub-Registrar) Jammu.
During investigation, offences were established against the accused persons namely Amit Goel, Shashi Kumar alias Makhnu, Majid Farid Shapoo and Gulzar Ahmad (now expired)., the then Nazir Court, and thereafter charge sheet of the case has been produced before the Sub Judge, Jammu today by Shwetambri Sharma, Dy. SP Crime Branch, Jammu.
