JAMMU, Aug 1: BJP Jammu and Kashmir, general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta said that the downfall of opportunistic Gupkar Alliance is not surprising and is indeed inevitable in the wake of the recent cracks within it.
His statement came in response to some PDP leaders’ speeches during its Foundation Day, targeting NC leadership for the prevailing instability in Kashmir.
Reacting to the developments, Vibodh Gupta stated that the Gupkar Alliance represents a coalition of corrupt and dynastic parties, desperately attempting to salvage their sinking ship in the Union Territory. “However, their deceptive tactics will no longer deceive the people, as their nefarious designs have been exposed and the people of J&K have vowed to uproot the Gupkar Alliance in the upcoming elections. The common public now stands firmly in support of the vision of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi”, he added.
Gupta was addressing a meeting of ST leaders at Rajouri. He emphasized that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have seen through the opportunistic manoeuvres of the Gupkar Alliance and they now yearn for true progress, development, and an end to the politics of deception. He asserted that the BJP’s commitment to inclusive governance, transparency, and the welfare of all citizens has resonated strongly with the public, garnering their trust and support.
Vibodh Gupta concluded by expressing confidence that the people’s support for the BJP’s vision, as exemplified by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, will ultimately lead to the dawn of a new era of growth and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.
