Fame is weird to me: Renee Zellweger

LOS ANGELES, Sept 22:  Actress Renee Zellweger says she loves her job as an actor but does not understand the fame attached to it.
The 47-year-old actress, who returned to spotlight after six years of hiatus, said dealing with fame does not come naturally to her, reported ET online.
“I like the job. I really like the job. I like to go to the set, the comradery. Fame is weird to me. It’s not natural. You don’t have the opportunity to meet people in a genuine way,” Zellweger said.
Her breakout role was the 1996 romantic comedy, “Jerry Maguire,” opposite Tom Cruise. The movie was also a lesson about the toll fame would take on her life.
“With my family it was more of an emotional thing. I remember the night of the ‘Jerry Maguire’ premiere. You’re swept away, and there’s no more contact with your mom and dad. They’re left there, and you’re moving around shaking hands and taking pictures, signing things and saying hello.” (PTI)
