DODA, Dec 31: A warm send-off was accorded by the Doda Police here today to the retiring officials ASI Iqbal Singh and follower Sham Lal who retired today on attaining the age of superannuation.
In a simple ceremony organized at District Police Lines Doda, SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta wished a warm farewell to these retiring officials and highlighted their contribution and dedication towards the services and extended them best wishes for their post retirement life.
Shakeel Rehman, Additional SP Hqrs Doda, Ajay Anand, DySP Hqrs Doda, Pankaj Sharma, DySP Kastigarh and others were also present on the occasion.
Ravinder Kour, a distinguished educator with an impeccable service record, retired today as the Principal of Govt Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS), Bakshi Nagar.
In this regard a function organized by the staff and students was held here today.
On the occasion, Ravinder Kour was lauded for her remarkable service and the impact she has had on countless students and teachers.
She joined Boys Higher Secondary School, Baramulla, as a Lecturer.
Over the course of 28 years, she demonstrated relentless commitment to academic excellence, discipline and student development.
