JAMMU, Dec 27: Office of Director Finance (P) J&K Circle Jammu has accorded a farewell to PD Tshering CPMG J&K Circle Jammu, who is going to retire on superannuation on December 31, 2019.
During the farewell, Arun Kumar Director Finance (P) highlighted the commendable milestones achieved by the DOP J&K Circle during the tenure of CPMG.
He informed that during the tenure of Tshering, Indian Post Payment Bank was launched, giving access of banking at the remote levels of UT, Head of Circle conference was organized in Srinagar being the first of its type in J&K, which was attended by Head of Circles of all the States of India, CSI (Digitisation of various Postal Services) was also made operational and digital linking arrangement of data flow from Head Post Office to Sub Post Office to Branch Post office and vice versa has been made operational thus updating the working scenario of department to present day standards.
PD Tshering CPMG will be replaced by Manju Kumar who is presently posted as DDG (P) at DOP Headquarters New Delhi.
The function was attended by AK Raina DDAP, SP Sharma ACAO, Yashpal Bindroo AAO, Muzamil Ali AAO, Daleep Tukra AAO and all the staff of Postal Account Office Jammu.
