Farmers’ issues best addressed by BJP Govt: Ganga

SAMBA, Jan 18: The issues of the farmers across the country were best addressed by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Government.
This was stated by former Minister and senior BJP leader Chander Prakash Ganga while addressing a Kissan Sammelan here at Ghagwal area of the district on Wednesday.
“PM Modi-led Government at the Centre stands fully committed to the welfare of the farmers. Our Government is making every effort to double the farmers’ income to boost the agriculture economy,” he said.
As per a statement, the Kissan Sammelan at Ghagwal was organised by Suresh Phalli, DDC Member Ghagwal and presided over by Sarabjit Singh Johal, President BJP Kissan Morcha J&K, who is also the DDC Member of Ramgarh.
“Ever since the BJP Government came into power, it has been taking all necessary initiatives to boost and bolster the agricultural economy along with farmers’ welfare schemes,” said Chander Prakash Ganga.
He briefed the farmers about various welfare schemes sponsored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government including Kissan Sammaan Nidhi, Kissan Credit Card, Kissan Fasal Bima and other schemes.
In his address, Sarabjit Singh Johal, highlighted the achievements of the Union Government viz.a.viz J&K.
He said, “it is happening in the BJP Government that the farmers living close to the borders are feeling safe due to a complete ceasefire”.
“Pakistani refugees have also got their rights in the BJP Government only,” said the BJP leader while addressing the farmers during the Kissan Sammellan.
Suresh Phalli, DDC member Ghagwal delivered the vote of thanks.
Prominent among others who attended the Sammelan were Kashmira Singh, Amar Singh, Rakesh Pant, Imtiaz Ahmed Dar, Balbir Kour, Choudhary Darshan Singh and others.
