SRINAGAR, June 24: A meeting was held today under the banner of All India Jammu and Kashmir Bank Employees Federation (AIJKBEF) here today.
In the meeting, Farooq Ahmed Bhat has been elected as Chairman of Federation. The unanimously decision was taken as Raghuvinder Singh Jasrotia from Jammu Unit is going to retire from the bank this month and the federation have taken a decision to continue him in the federation as an Advisor and felicitated him for rendering services during the tenure in his bank as well as in the union.
Considering the contribution of Farooq Ahmed Bhat, it was decided that he will serve as Chairman and guide the other union members for welfare of the workmen staff for two to three years till the next election.
President Chand Khair and Senior Vice President Mohammad Shafi Mandoo also addressed the employees.
In the end, vote of thanks was presented by Senior Vice President Vijay Kumar Sharma.
