SRINAGAR, June 23 : The National Conference President and Union Minister for Renewable Energy Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Party working president and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today welcomed the appointment of Raja Pervez Ashraf as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan.
According to the party spokesman, while congratulating the new Prime Minister the leaders hoped that he will usher a new dawn of peace and prosperity between the two neighboring countries and help resolve the Kashmir issue.
The NC President Dr.Farooq Abdullah said that he was hopeful that the Indo-Pak dialogue process will be carried forward as it is the only way to resolve any issues.
The working president of the party Omar Abdullah while wising the new PM success also hoped that the Indo-Pak dialogue process will get a major fillip. He also hoped that the two countries will help in the resolution of the Kashmir issue.
