SRINAGAR, Sept 10: The National Conference (NC) president and Union Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister and working president of the Party, Omar Abdullah today paid tributes to the NC leader and former Minister Mushtaq Ahmed Lone on his 10th death anniversary.
The leaders described the late leader a humble and honest person who always stood and worked for the upliftment of weaker section of the society. The NC leaders said that the contribution of the late leader would always be remembered. They said that apart from his association with Party, Lone proved to be a very effective Minister. They said that he was a dedicated and honest party man who stood tall for the principles of the party.
Many leaders of the party paid rich tributes to the leader and highlighted his contribution. Meanwhile, a function will be organized at his ancestral graveyard in which many leaders will participate.
