SRINAGAR, Feb 25: National Conference (NC) president and Member of the Parliament from Srinagar Dr Farooq Abdullah paid a courtesy call to the Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah.
Chief spokesperson of NC Tanvir Sadiq accompanied Dr Farooq Abdullah on the visit. During their interaction, they exchanged pleasantries and engaged in discussions on various matters of national and regional importance.
Dr Abdullah presented Karnataka CM with a globally renowned Paper-machie Samovar souvenir representing a gesture of affection from the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He urged the Chief Minister to ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals from J&K residing, employed, or engaged in business activities in Karnataka. He also lauded the ongoing efforts of Karnataka Government for the welfare and progress of minorities and other backward classes in the State.
Earlier, Dr Farooq also met Deputy CM of Karnataka DK Shivakumar and discussed issues related to regional and national politics. Dr Farooq presented him with a souvenir of Paper machie Samovar.
