JAMMU, Oct 26: The statements by NC president, Dr Farooq Abdullah over recent selective killings in the Valley are testimony to the fact that the octogenarian politician is playing dirty politics over the issue as it seems that he is taking sadistic pleasure out of deaths of the large number of innocent people.
This was said by senior BJP leader and former Minister, Bali Bhagat while condemning NC patron after he mocked the Central dispensation over the recent killings of the innocent civilians.
Bali Bhagat said that insensitive leaders like Dr Farooq Abdullah can only take pleasure in killings of people because in this he is sensing an opportunity to galvanize NC’s vote bank. He slammed him for his remark on spurt in terrorism in Valley and questioned his role in containing the scourge of violence during the last over thirty years.
Bali Bhagat said that NC is stooping so low that it is looking for sadistic pleasure in killings of innocent people because it is living in a fool’s paradise that the same will give the party the much needed edge in the upcoming elections.
Bali Bhagat said that the BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi will not allow any entity in the Valley to disturb the tranquility as already many among those involved in the recent killings have been eliminated and the rest are soon to be hunted down by the security forces. On the issue of development, Bali said that J&K has witnessed unprecedented growth in recent years unlike the days when NC or other Governments were in power. He accused Dr Farooq Abdullah of befooling people on various facets and doing nothing on ground. He said that Dr Farooq was only good at playing divisive politics that has led the erstwhile State to a dead end facing a vicious cycle of death and destruction.
The former Minister said that people of the UT of J&K will not fall prey to his gimmicks anymore as they know who is good for them and who is not. He urged the people to wholeheartedly support the Modi Government to ensure bright future of J&K and its people as no other party or person can give fair deal to hapless people reeling under dearth gifted by Dr Farooq’s party and others akin to NC.
