Farooq supporting, fanning terrorism: Chugh

SRINAGAR, Oct 18: BJP National general secretary, Tarun Chugh today condemned the ghastly murder of two persons from Uttar Pradesh by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir and strongly condemned former Chief Minister, Farooq Abdullah for repeatedly giving statements in favour of terrorists and separatists to fan violence in the Union Territory.
“In 1989 Farooq Abdullah with Congress fanned terrorism, here. They have always supported terrorism and talk about terrorism. The anti-national stance of Farooq Abdullah has harmed the state in the past so much’, said Chugh.
“When thousands of Pandits were displaced and hundreds of them were killed and raped by J&K terrorists, people like Abdullah watched the situation mutely by supporting the violence, BJP national general secretary alleged, adding that Abdullahs and Muftis just want to occupy the seat of power and have been sulking ever since Article 370 was done away with.
Chugh said J&K has entered a new era of development and progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The nefarious games of Abdullahs and Muftis have no buyers in J&K anymore, he added.
