It is quite heartening to know that Fast-track courts have come up in the State of Jammu & Kashmir much before the same come up in other parts of the country.
This will certainly help the victims of sexual assault get justice expeditiously. After the gang-rape incidents in Delhi that shook the nation, the creation of fast-track courts was a necessity in view of the rapid rise in crime against women in the country.
The Government should provide all financial assistance in creating these courts in other parts of the State.
