JAMMU, Mar 29: A father and his minor daughter were injured in Gandhi Nagar area when a rashly driven car hit their scooty here today morning.
According to the Police, Ashok Sharma (35) son of late Dhana Ram Sharma, resident of Sunny Karsoli in Bari Brahmana, was going to drop his daughter Arshita Sharma (9) to her maternal home at Pacca Danga, when a rashly driven car bearing Registration No JK02AR5454 hit their Scooti near St Mary Convent School in Gandhi Nagar.
The seriously injured Ashok Kumar and his daughter were immediately shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where their condition is stated to be stable.
The police have taken cognizance of the matter and a manhunt is on to nab the accused driver.
