Father, son from Jammu killed in Nepal quake

JAMMU : A man and his son were killed here in the disastrous earthquake that hit Nepal yesterday. The duo from Simbal Camp village in Miran Sahib area on the city outskirts was running a ‘dhaba’ in Nepal, a relative here today said.
He said a man identified as Sujan Singj, 65, and his son Parvibder Singh, 30, were killed in the quake. “Gloom gripped the village after the news of their death spread,” he added. However, he said the bodies have been recovered from the debris and will reach here tomorrow. (AGENCIES)
