JAMMU, Apr 30: A man and his son were injured in an assault case in Pounichak area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a scuffle broke out between two neighbouring families in Pounichak area over some land issue, late last night. He said soon the scuffle took ugly turn and one party attacked the other by some sharp edged weapons during which one Darshan Singh (55) son of Dayan Singh and his son namely Pardeep Singh (23) received injuries.
“Both injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment”, he said, adding a case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and further investigations were underway.
