RAMNAGAR, July 3: In a sensational and bizarre case, a father has turned out to be killer of his son who was murdered under mysterious circumstances a fortnight ago in a remote village of Ramnagar.
Police has worked out the blind murder case and arrested the accused father, who had earlier killed his own seven year old daughter and also three-month old real brother during childhood.
According to Police, Kuldeep Kumar of village Pinger in Ramnagar, Udhampur district, who was brought dead in Sub-District Hospital on June 16 under mysterious circumstances, was in fact beaten to death by his own father Kali Dass.
The barbaric father, who is a typical sycophant case, allegedly killed his son for visiting to the house of a relative without his consent and then took the body to Sub-District Hospital Ramnagar claiming that some un-known persons murdered the youth.
Accordingly, Police started inquest proceedings under Section 174/CrPC and collected evidences from all possible angles. The leads developed during the course of enquiry led to the sensational story of murder by own father. Thereafter, the inquest proceedings vide FIR No 53/2014 was converted into a murder case under Section 302/RPC and investigation taken up by Inspector Deepak Pathania, SHO police station Ramnagar.
Investigation further revealed that accused Kali Dass during his childhood had killed his three month old younger brother but the incident remained un-reported to the police authorities. Thereafter in the year, 1998 Kali Dass also killed his eight year old daughter and was arrested at police station Ramnagar vide FIR number 79/98 under Section 302/RPC. The accused was convicted by the court of Sessions Judge Udhampur and remained in Jail for 10 years.
In the year 2008, Kali Dass came out of Jail and started living his life but in the year 2013, the accused again indulged in an act of violence and chopped off ear of his younger son over some minor issue. Similarly, he also tried to kill his daughter by chasing her with axe but she managed to escape and took shelter in some other village for 15 days.
The latest act of accused was fourth one to cause damage to his family on account for sake of false honour and ego.
“My husband not only loses temper over minor issues but crosses all limits of brutality and has destroyed our entire family. He must remain in jail for ever throughout his life as I cannot demand death sentence for him”, said Koushalaya Devi wife of Kali Dass.
