SRINAGAR, Nov 14: Veteran journalist Ahmed Ali Fayaz has joined The Hindu as it’s Jammu & Kashmir Bureau Chief. He will be operating from Srinagar and Jammu.
One of India’s most influential and the highest circulation dailies in English, The Hindu has 17 daily editions spread all over the country. The group, which also publishes leading magazine Frontline, has it’s headquarters in Chennai.
In his 20-year-long career in journalism, Mr Fayaz has worked with several leading newspapers and media organization. He headed Srinagar bureau of Daily Excelsior for over 13 years and has several national and international awards to his credit in recognition of his contribution to journalism.
