JAMMU, May 20: An officer of Food Corporation of India (FCI) died today due to suspected cardiac arrest at Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
“Shashi Kant Gupta (42) son of R P Gupta, resident of House number 3, Sector-6A, Trikuta Nagar, was rushed to GMC Jammu by his family members after he suddenly fell unconscious at his residence,” a police official said, adding, doctors at hospital declared him as brought dead.
He said that Trikuta Nagar police had initiated inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC in this connection to know the exact reason of death.
