FCS&CA Directorate shifted, Director reviews performance

JAMMU, Dec 22: Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Amit Sharma here today chaired maiden monthly review meeting of all districts of Jammu Division in the newly constructed building of the Directorate at Nehru Market, Ware House.
The meeting was attended by all Assistant Directors of Jammu Division in the presence of Joint Director Administration, Pawan Sharma; Chief Accounts Officer, Rashim Deepika and others.
Speaking in the meeting Director Amit Sharma pointed out that everyday performance of FCS&CA in all districts of Jammu should lead to provision of doorstep delivery of services to citizens especially located in far-flung areas of Jammu Division.
He was very particular in mentioning that all legal cases especially relating to implementation and compliance of Courts’ orders should be given top priority by all district officers.
The Director held a detailed review of all core issues including ePDS implementation, Supply Chain Management, Building Godowns in all districts, increasing Aadhaar Seeding, timely implementation of reporting and charting of ration distribution and many other related issues.
Before conclusion of the meeting the Director FCS&CA told all officers of the Directorate to conduct physical verification of districts in a professional manner at the last week of this year and the performance of officers shall also be evaluated on the basis of quality and outcome of this all-important cross-checking annual exercise being conducted in all districts of Jammu division.
