FDA, grazing area allotment committee meetings held

UDHAMPUR, Jan 21: Conservator of Forests, East Circle, A K Gupta chaired two separate meetings of Forest Development Agency and Grazing Area Allotment Selection Committee of the Udhampur Forest Division, here today.
During the meeting of FA, work proposal for the year 2014-15 were finalized after discussing the same with concerned VFC members and Field Staff.
In the Grazing Area Allotment Selection Committee, the non-official members highlighted the problems being faced by the grazers in the forest. The grazers emphasized on the opening of the matured closures and allotment order for them. They also discussed the issue of Forest demarcation.
DFO Udhampur Anwar Aftab Shah, DFO Ramnagar Anil Kumar Atri, DSCO Udhampur M A Mir and others attended the meetings. Range Officer Udhampur coordinated proceedings of the meeting.
