FDP on “Artificial Intelligence” concludes

JAMMU, Nov 22: Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Artificial Intelligence’, organized by the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Central University of Jammu, under the guidance and supervision of Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, in collaboration with AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy, AICTE, New Delhi, concluded today.
Dr. Yashwant Singh, HoD, CS&IT supervised the valedictory function and congratulated all the participants besides the organizing Committee. He highlighted the importance of imparting training on the contemporary technologies to enhance one’s competency level. He encouraged the participants to learn as much as possible from this type of FDPs and enjoined upon that such FDPs must be conducted on regular basis.
He appreciated the enthusiasm shown particularly by participants from different varsities who attended the program from all parts of the country.
Dr. Deepti Malhotra, Assistant Professor & Coordinator of the Program, conducted proceedings. She mentioned that more than 80 participants from various institutions were registered for the program.
Speaking on the occasion, she extended heartiest gratitude to the resource persons including Dr. Partha Pratim Roy, Assistant Professor at Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee Puneet Jindal, Founder Eduwaive Foundation, Chandigarh, India and Dr. Arun Sharma, a leading academician. She also acknowledged the cooperation of all the faculty members besides the zeal and dedication shown by scholars which made the program a grand success.
