JAMMU, June 9: A Future Dental Professional (FDP) programme was organized at Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), Sehora, Jammu by Indian Dental Association (IDA) and Colgate.
Dr Sunil Mahajan, Prof and Head, Periodontics Department, gave an impressive lecture on practice management while Dr Prashant Singh, MDS Periodontics, presented the scientific lecture on Acute Pain Management. Dr Sudesh Roa, Prof and Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, discussed various aspects of dental school clinical posting.
While speaking, Dr Umang Jamwal, assistant secretary, Indian Dental Association (IDA) said that this FDP is aimed towards enhancing knowledge base through well planned series of lecture for 3rd year, final years students and interns of the college.
Besides others, Principal, IDS Sehora, Dr YK Singla as well as Dr Himja Mengi, Dr Kunal Vuthoo, Dr Sarang Khajuria, Dr Vasit Khajuria and Dr Nidhi from IDA were also present on the occasion.
Sumeet Gandotra, Oral Care Consultant, Colgate Palmolive India Ltd, practically demonstrated the effects of Colgate Sensitive Pro relief toothpaste and Colgate Plax mouthwash to volunteer students of the dental college.
