UDHAMPUR, Oct 12: Police today seized 48 pouches of illicit liquor from a female bootlegger, who was also arrested.
Based on a reliable sources, a Police party, led by SHO Udhampur Mahesh Sharma, carried out checking near Bus Stand area and arrested the accused Pushpa Devi of Sudhmahadev in Chenani, who was carrying 48 pouches of J&K Excise (Desi Whisky).
In this connection, a case FIR number 383/2014 U/S 48A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur.
