KATRA, May 25: Foiling an attempt of liquor smuggling to holy town, Katra Police today arrested a female bootlegger and seized 49 pouches of illicit liquor from her possession.
According to Police, 49 poly pouches of J&K Excise liquor of 250/ML each, were recovered from the possession of one Neelam Devi, wife of Babu Ram of Sallikhardhui, tehsil Nagrota when she was intercepted at Moori Check-Post.
Police seized the liquor and arrested the woman. A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Katra.
