Female Multi Purpose Workers hold 3rd one day conference

JAMMU, Oct 22: Jammu Kashmir Female Multi Purpose Workers Welfare Association held 3rd one day conference under the chairmanship of Sushil Sudan, president, Medical Employees Federation and Vinod Kumar Sharma, general secretary at block Sohanjana.
During the conference, various issues related to the medical employees were discussed which included enhancement of pay grade of FMPHW and staff nurses, creation of post of LHV in new PHCs, absorption of trained LHV as health educators, enhancement of fixed traveling allowances, creation of posts of Block Pharmacy Officer and District Pharmacy Officers, regularization of salary and disbursement of pending salary of four month in Head 2211, issuance of order in favour of adhoc, contractual and consolidated employees, removal of pay anomalies, creation of posts of Section Officer and creation of posts of District Malaria Officers and SHIs in newly created districts.
BMO Sohanjana also attended the conference, listened to the demands and assured to cooperate with the staff.
Meanwhile, Harpal Singh was elected as president of block Sohanjana, the executive body of which would be framed afterwards.
Among others who spoke were Shavinder Kumar, Amar Nath, Bindu Sharma, Naresh Kumar, Veer Kour, Mohinder Kour, Parfulat Singh, Som Raj Panday, Vikas Chowan, Abid Hussain, Ranbir Singh, etc.
