KATRA, Dec 17: A female pilgrim from Bihar died here today while on way to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine.
The deceased was identified as Yashoda Devi (65), wife of Pardeep Shukla of Math Hari, Bihar. She was on way to the Bhawan along with her family members when she suddenly became unconscious Near Geeta Mandir. She was immediately shifted to Pushapanjli Dispensary from where she was referred to CHC Katra for treatment. However, she breathed her last on the way and doctors declared her as brought dead at CHC Katra.
After completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to the family members.
