Ferrous metals remain steady

MUMBAI, Nov 9:  Ferrous remained flat today while mixed trend was seen in non-ferrous on scattered demand from stockists, traders
at the Bombay Metal Exchange (BME) said.
All metals in ferrous category remained steady, traders  said.
In non-ferrous metals,  aluminiun ingots declined by Rs 200 to Rs 15,100.
The rest of the metals remained steady, they added.
Ferrous Metals (per quintal):
Copper Heavy –  Rs 49,300, Copper utensils – Rs 45,500, Brass utensils – Rs 34,500, Brass cuttings – Rs 35,300, and Aluminium utensils – Rs 12,400.
Non-ferrous Metals:
Copper wire bars – Rs 52,900, Aluminium ingots – Rs 15,100, Zinc slabs – Rs 16,000, Lead ingots – Rs 12,900, Tin slabs – Rs 15,850 and Nickel cathode – Rs 1,020.
