JAMMU, Oct 27: Ahead of the festival of lights, the Fire and Emergency Services Department is organising series of awareness programmes for the students and one such function was organised at Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota.
During the programme, demonstration was given to the students by the fire fighters about safety measures required to be taken while bursting crackers to avoid mishaps. They were also educated about the steps being taken by the department during major fire incidents and natural calamities.
The function was organized by Station Officer Fire Station City on the directions of Deputy Director, Fire and Emergency Command Jammu R C Raina.
