JAMMU, Aug 12: Fiat Group Automobiles India Private limited (FGAIPL) rolled out the new Punto Evo, a stylish car here today.
The new car was launched by Managing Director of National Fiat Jammu, Chander Gulati and president Fiat India Pvt Ltd Mr Bhatia in presence of Regional Manager Fiat India Ltd Anand Totla besides Sandeep Gulati, Shailender Gulati and Sahaj Gulati-all directors of National Fiat Jammu and the staff at the company showroom on Bypass Road here today.
The company representatives disclosed that the new Punto Evo has comprehensive range at a wide price performance points. It comes in seven variants with seven exciting colours in petrol and diesel versions. The new car is dramatic evolution of the earlier versions sporting the design theme of dynamism and harmony. It is designed and engineered for India catering to the needs of today’s customers. The new Evo is fully loaded with a host of first-in-class features like rear AC vents, premium soft touch two tone dash, ambient light, all four power windows, dual stage driver side airbag, smart wipers and 16 inch alloys.
It also offers best in class three year warranty with option of extending it to 2 more years and convenient service intervals of 15,000 kms for a hassle free ownership experience. Fiat is also offering three year / 45000 km total repair and maintenance programme at attractive rates for new Punto Evo customers.
They said Punto Evo is a perfect blend of great design and style from world renowned Italian designers with the highest level of European engineering standards. The ex-showroom Jammu price of the new Punto Evo starts at Rs 4,63,805 (petrol/ 1.2 L). In diesel version the vehicle’s price starts with Rs 5,35,694 (Active 1.3 L). It has luxurious interiors and all new stylish exteriors with unique reindeer headlamps, elegant LED optical guide tail lamps and blinkers on outside mirrors. It has been designed and tested to achieve the requirements of the occupant protection in high speed collisions as per European homologation standards. It also has features like two stage driver side airbag, double crank prevention system, metal reinforced rear seat back, smart front and rear wipers for better visibility.
