JAMMU, June 22: FICCI FLO Jammu-Kashmir & Ladakh (JKL) under the guidance of its Founding Chairperson, Ritu Singh here today organized a workshop with Sr. Executive Member, Dr. Mitali Gupta (Dietician) & Entrepreneur (Member FLO), Sanna Gandotra at S-Four Supermarket, Channi Himmat.
The session started with recitation of Gayatri Mantra followed by a motivation talk on health and alternative eating habits by Dr. Mitali.
Sanaa Gandotra supported the talk by showing various alternatives to the otherwise harmful food items often consumed amongst mothers and children and spoke about the benefits of products that she has curated especially for the cause.
An introduction to Nimbark Organics owned by Sr. Executive Member, Pooja Gupta was made by Ritu Singh.
A quiz was organized for the children. More than 35 children from DPS Jammu and Alexander Memorial School and were accompanied by their mothers and teachers.
Executive Member, Nitika Aggarwal shared her expertise on healthy habits whilst Vice Chairperson, Esther William spoke on nutrition and alternative products.
Ritu Singh laid emphasis on reviving the traditional methods of cooking and its benefits and thanked moderators—Dr. Mitali Gupta and Sanna Gandotra.
She also distributed prizes curated by S-Four to all the children.
The children prepared placards with their views proactively in the session making it a grand success.
The session concluded with Mool Dharaa meditation by Dr. Mitali Gupta after which healthy refreshment was served.
Large number of FICCI FLO members, mothers, teachers and children were present on the occasion while the special invitees to the event were Amar Chauhan & Sunita Gupta.
