JAMMU, Dec 28: Followers of Sanatan Dharma under the banner of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti (ABDPSS) here today celebrated ‘Geeta Jayanti’ as 15 days ‘Mahotsav’ from December 14-28.
On concluding day of the Mahotsav, ABDPSS volunteers organized a function at Shiv Mandir, Lower Chowadi which was graced by Bhagwat Kathakar, Ashwani Kumar Ji Maharaj, Acharya Jeevan Ji Maharaj, Santosh Sharma, Principal Jammu Public School, Sunil Sharma, ABDPSS National Coordinator and others.
Speaking on the occasion Ashwani Kumar said that teachings in Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta are the need of hour.
He asked the people from all walks of life to daily read Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta.
Sharma informed that over the years, many initiatives have been launched by ABDPSS to spread knowledge of sacred scripture-Bhagwat Gita which can infuse the feelings of love for humanity and God in everybody.
A handout stated that for the last 10 years ABDPSS has launched one more service towards society which is free distribution of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta Granth in the society to spread the message of Lord Krishna.
