Fifteen days ‘Roboshala’ held

JAMMU, June 20: Fifteen days robotic workshop “Roboshala” for the children of 7 to 15 years concluded at Career Abacus.
Children from different schools participated in the workshop and learned as how to make robots and program them.
During the workshop teacher explained the concept to the students and the students started by exploring the robotic kit, assembling various components by following the instructions and giving shape to the robot. Institute strongly believes that this process of teaching is beyond all existing conventional teaching processes where the student is given a platform to use his/her logic and build the robot. The overall program helps the student visually grasp the concepts of Math and Science thereby enhancing the problem solving skills.
Director of the institute, Arvind Sharma informed, “We aim to introduce the concept of Educational Robotics in schools as robotics is the future tool for learning methodology. The purpose of educational robotics is to provide the students with a platform where they can experience the most critical concepts in education.
The course content focuses on domains such as “Hands-On Learning” and “Learning by Doing”.
The workshop was attended by Shivansh Gautam, Aaryan, Ritikdeep, Sia Gupta, Gritish Rohmetra, Aayushman, Nakul, Krishrit, Mishika, Udayveer, Javelin, Stuti Bhougal, Adhwik, Ishaan, Shivansh Pandey, Krishika and Chaitanya.
The workshop was coordinated by Divya, Ankush, Himani, Sunny, Ajay and Parmeet Kour.
