JAMMU, Oct 13: Asserting that the fight for the restoration of Article 370 and 35-A would be taken to a logical end, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) vice president Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency, Rajesh Gupta today accused BJP of misleading the country over the constitutional safeguards to J&K.
Reiterating the demand of restoration of Statehood to J&K, Gupta said that it was the only ‘Dogra state’ in country which was conceptualized and created by our revered rulers and extended with countless sacrifices by Dogra warriors.
“The economy was worst impacted and development came to a standstill after the abrogation but the BJP continued to use coercive apparatus of State to silence all those who raise voice for justice and sought fulfillment of promises made by BJP during elections,” he claimed adding that every section of the society is now suffering.
The AAP leader also said that youth are on roads, farmers and border dwellers and the traders including shopkeepers and businessmen are bearing the brunt of apathetic and callous attitude of bureaucracy which is ruling the roost in absence of the popular elected Government.
