JAMMU, May 18: LG administration must instate Director, Health Services and other important administrative posts lying vacant to ensure the quality deliverance of Health Services, stated Sham Lal Sharma, J&K BJP vice-president and former Minister.
“Absence of prominent position like ‘Director Health Services Jammu’ severely paralysed the delivery of quality service to the patients at the Central as well as peripheral level. It also adversely affected the functioning of the department, both at the administrative level as well as on the delivery front. The LG administration must take cognizance of the matter and appoint full time Director on the post and also at the same time fill other vacant administrative posts of the Department to deliver quality service to the society”, said Sham Lal Sharma.
The BJP leader took serious note of the request raised by a deputation comprising prominent citizens mostly from Kandi areas of Khour and other places. The deputation apprised the senior BJP leaders that the important post of ‘Director Health Services Jammu’ is lying vacant raising serious implications regarding provision of adequate Health Services to the people. They said that it is just not palatable that such an important position is being run on temporary provisions thereby seriously jeopardizing the fundamental service to the society.
Individuals and deputations of people from various areas of Jammu & Kashmir had reached Trikuta Nagar office to meet these leaders with their grievances. They narrated their woes and sought kind intervention of the party leaders to get their problems solved like improper and delayed repair of streetlights, repair of drinking water supply pipes, old age pension, revenue and many others.
One deputation of Shree Baba Kailakh Nath devotees reached party office with demand to depict the Shrine on tourist map of Jammu & Kashmir. Another deputation from Karnah tehsil Khour requested for a Degree College, which was immediately taken up with the concerned department by former Minister.
Another deputation requested for construction of road from Thangar to Balli via Kharah and Kharah to Chinota vil Kallah under PMGSY.
Sham Lal Sharma, accompanied by BJP Library in charge Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan in charge Dil Bahadur Jamwal and BJYM vice-president, Danish Mishra listened to the grievances of people at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
BJP leaders after hearing to the problems of the people, tried for their early resolution so that the people are not made to suffer.
