‘Fill vacant posts of dental surgeons’

JAMMU, June 3: Former MLA and Senior Congress leader, Ashok Kumar has urged upon the Lieutenant Governor of J&K to fill the vacant posts of dental surgeons at various medical institutions of the Union Territory by fast track recruitments.
In a handout Kumar said that as there is no dental surgeon in many rural areas and the public there is facing a lot of problems due to this as they can’t travel to Jammu or Srinagar due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Kumar said that Dental Surgeons should be recruited under NRHM or any other scheme so that the patients can be cured.
He further claimed shortage of equipments in Dental Clinic at rural medical institutions of J&K and demanded advanced equipments in all medical institution.
Kumar also demanded 24 hours electricity in every PHC, CHC and other medical institution in rural areas.
