Financial assistance for families of COVID deceased demanded

JAMMU, May 6: Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray J&K unit has demanded all possible help including financial assistance and free education to family members of those killed due to Corona pandemic.
In a press conference here today Shiv Sena J&K president, Manish Sahni appealed PM Modi and J&K LG, Manoj Sinha to come forward to provide financial help especially free education for the children of those who lost their lives due to Corona pandemic.
He said, it is the responsibility of government to protect the public from pandemic.
Sahni claimed that there is no medicine to defeat COVID-19 pandemic due to which large number of deaths are taking place across the country.
He said that the public pays tax for all these arrangements and it is the duty of the government to help the public.
The Shiv Sena leader said that vaccination is the only option to overcome the Corona pandemic and it should be made available to the public on a war footing.
He appealed to all the State governments and Union Territories to take care of the families who lost their lives and provide them immediate financial assistance and help all the victim families at the earliest.
Shiv Sena women wing president, Meenakshi Chibber and general secretary, Vikas Bakshi were also present in the press conference.
