LEH, Nov 3: Lt Governor of Ladakh Union Territory, R K Mathua has sanctioned Rs 12 lakh from the LG Fund for financial assistance to eight families affected in the flashflood that hit villages of Kargil in July this year.
An order in this regard has been issued for release of funds (Rs 12 lakh) in favour of Deputy Commissioner Kargil, for providing financial assistance to the affected families at the rate of Rs 1.5 lakh per family for reconstruction of house.
