Fine imposed on erring shopkeepers

KISHTWAR, Oct 27: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana, the authorities of Municipal Committee Kishtwar continued its drive against erring shopkeepers found indulged in spreading litter and thus causing hindrance in Swaachta activities.
While continuing the drive against erring shopkeepers, today the authorities of Municipal Committee Kishtwar compounded a fine to the tune of Rs 2600 around the vicinity of Malik Market, Shaheedi road Kishtwar and fined shopkeepers namely Vishal Gupta, Arun Gupta, Satpaul Gupta, Hukum Chand of Rs 200 each, Mushtaq Ahmed of Rs 300, Sanjay Gupta, Kuldeep Kumar and Rajesh Kumar of Rs 500 each.
Further, DC stated that in future action against defaulting shopkeepers will continue. He further warned that if erring shopkeepers will not rectify their attitude, fine will be imposed on a higher side.
