FIR against PDP leader for attack on BJP activist

RAJOURI, Dec 24: The police has registered an FIR against the PDP leader, Surinder Choudhary and his supporters for allegedly thrashing a BJP activist when he was sitting in his shop at Nowshera town this afternoon.
Sources said that Surinder Choudhary (Ex-MLC) , who won the DDC election from Nowshera seat, today took out victory procession along with his supporters in Nowshera town. During march, he along with some PDP workers allegedly barged into the shop of BJP activist, RD Kohli and thrashed him. Later, a video also went viral of attack by PDP workers on Kohli. Kohli was later hospitalized at SDH Nowshera.
A senior police officer said that an FIR No. 238/ 2020 has been registered against PDP leader and his supporters. He said as per complaint from PDP leader , Kohli had abused some women activists of PDP during victory procession. Upon this, party workers got infuriated and slapped Kohli. They have also demanded legal action against BJP worker. The police was investigating the matter.
